LAMDA Workshops

To date LAMDA tuition has been run within the regular weekly session and with the success of the 100% pass rate at Merit and Distinction levels, new classes are being offered. Highly trained and experienced professional actors will coach the sessions.

The classes will take place on a Saturday 12.30- 1.30pm for ages 8+ and no previous experience is necessary. Children can do grades from Entry Level to Grade 6.

There will be two groups
  • Beginners doing Entry to Grade 3

  • Advanced doing Grades 4-6. Grade 6 is a Bronze Medal grade and carries UCAS points with it.

LAMDA give children a challenge that they can take pride in and this boosts self esteem and confidence. Children learn to work independently to achieve success. The set pieces selected by LAMDA are fun and relevant to promoting creativity in children. All of the work supports developing strong literacy skills and a wider appreciation of reading.
