South West Youth Theatre

South West Youth Theatre is a fully consituted voluntary non-profit making organisation.  Samantha Giblin (founder of Little Actors Theatre) is also the Artistic Director of SWYT.  Little Actors manages the group as we strongly believe in the positive value of community theatre activities for young people.

SWYT is a member of the NAYT. Registered with Wandsworth Borough Council Youth Service and as such is fully constituted.

12+ Group – 2008 Projects
Spring - Rehearsing and performing ‘FUGEE’ by Abigail Morgan, for the National Theatre’s New Connections Scheme. Performance dates: 8-9th March, 2008. For details click the poster below.

Junior Group – Age 10+
Weekly workshops including improvisation, voice work, theatre games etc. Some performance opportunities with the older group.

Time
6-8pm Wednesdays

As a result of a donation from the John Thaw Foundation we can offer concessions to young people from low waged families. For eligibility details please contact Samantha. All applications are treated in confidence.
